How long is the drive to The Northridge from Toronto?

About a 3 hour drive from downtown Toronto via Highway 400 North, and Highway 11. The Northridge is approx. 30 min from Huntstville.

Where can I stay for the wedding?

Accepted Answer

You can either stay on-site at our wedding venue The Northridge Inn & Resort, or at Home2 Suites by Hilton in Huntsville, where we have a hotel block and shuttle transportation arranged. We have also provided a list of a few other hotels nearby if you'd like to consider other options.

What kind of attire should I wear, given we are outdoors?

Accepted Answer

Formal attire please. Our wedding is on the second day of Summer, June 22! And June weather is meant to be gorgeous up there, so expect sun and a warm temperature. Summer dresses are perfect! We do have a rain plan just in case, but knock wood!

For ladies wearing heels, you will be perfectly fine on the Pier, as it is a solid block of cement, not a rickety dock, for anyone concerned! Of course, a thick wedge is always comfiest though, especially for the lawn.

Will there be a shuttle if we're staying in Huntsville?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there sure will be! We will have a shuttle service running between Huntsville and The Northridge, so everyone can enjoy the bar at our wedding! Pick up / drop off will be from the Home2 Suites by Hilton hotel in Huntsville only. All guests staying in Huntsville who wish to take the shuttle must meet there.
